Silver Beginnings: Intro to Silversmithing

  • The 9318 Collective 1212 Greene Street Silverton, CO, 81433 United States (map)

Curious about making your own silver jewelry but not sure where to start? Join local silversmith Stephanie Sheley of Wild Alpine Silver for a lively introductory discussion of the essentials: the core tools you’ll need, where to find them, and how to source quality silver and stones without breaking the bank. You’ll leave with a clear roadmap for setting up your own workspace and the confidence to take that first hammer strike.

Drop in to the gallery between 1-4 pm to engage the artist with your questions about silversmithing! Plan on spending ~15-20 minutes.

This activity is part of the Silverton Creates! Celebration of the Arts (Sep 12-20). Check out the full schedule of events at www.silvertoncreates.com
