Celebrate creativity at altitude during one of the most beautiful weekends of the year in the San Juans! Silverton Creates! Art & Music Fest brings together artists, makers, musicians, and community for two days of art, live music, food, and fun surrounded by peak fall color.
Kick things off Friday night with a free Summer Sounds concert featuring Giant Walking Robots, spend Saturday browsing the Maker’s Market with live music all day long, then stick around as ATOMGA takes the stage for one final concert to close out the 2026 season.
Come shop, dance, create, eat, drink, and soak up fall in Silverton—where mountains and makers meet!

FRIDAY NIGHT - GIANT WALKING ROBOTS
Friday, September 11 • 6–9 PM • Memorial Park
Start your festival weekend on the dance floor! Denver-based Giant Walking Robots headlines the final Friday night Summer Sounds concert of the season with a groove-heavy blend of reggae, rock, dub, and electronic sounds.
Silverton’s own The Van Allen Dilemma opens the evening with their electro-analog mix of guitars, synths, and electronic grooves.
The concert is free and all ages—bring a blanket or camp chair and settle in for an evening of live music surrounded by early fall color in the San Juans.
SATURDAY - MAKER’S MARKET & MUSIC FEST
Saturday, September 12 • 11 AM–5 PM • Memorial Park
Saturday is all about making, shopping, listening, eating, and hanging out! Browse original art and handmade goods from local and regional artists and craftspeople, meet the makers, grab something to eat, enjoy a drink from the event bar, and bring the kids for activities and face painting—all with live music throughout the day.
DAYTIME MUSICAL LINEUP
Tyler Simmons • 11 am
Tyler Simmons is a multi-genre guitarist, vocalist, and songwriter based in Southwest, Colorado. He uses many musical styles to build a range of soundscapes, from funky and danceable, to contemplative and quiet, while his use of loopers create a larger-than-solo sound stretching from familiar to psychedelic. In addition to his bands Lavalanche, Porch Couch, and Patio Chair, he is known for incredible solo performances and thrilling collaborations. As a lifelong musician, he brings years of passion and experience to the stage.
The Monkberries • 12:30 pm
The Monkberries—a groovy indie-rock duo with a psychedelic surf‑pop undercurrent—mixing heartfelt lyrics with catchy, groove‑laden melodies. Influenced by 1950s and 1960s sounds—surf, rock‑’n’-roll, retro soul—delivering breezy, nostalgic tunes designed to evoke good vibes and easy listening. The Monkberries are made up of singer/guitarist Adam Millard and singer/bassist Marissa Hunt.
Inside Voice • 2 pm
Inside Voice is a quartet with Jacob Nalle, Davis Jones, Cord Drake, and Tyler Reed Smith. They play funky, earthy, soulful music with a blend of influences ranging from John Scofield to Kendrick Lamar. On any given day, you can catch the members of Inside Voice supporting artists and ripping on their instruments in the 4 corners area.
Ryan Marble • 3:30 pm
Marble was inspired by a friend who wrote his own songs. When he asked the friend how he did it, the friend responded “I just start writing.” So that is what Marble decided to do too. 7 years later he has some folky poetry tunes about rivers, romance, and right livin’. His greatest influences are John Prine and Mary Oliver.
Admission is free and family-friendly. Bring a blanket or camp chair and make a day of it! Well-behaved, leashed dogs are welcome during the Maker’s Market. Please no outside alcohol.

We’re not done yet! After the Maker’s Market wraps up, head back to Memorial Park for one last big night of music as ATOMGA closes out Silverton Creates! and the 2026 Summer Sounds season.
The Denver nine-piece brings a powerhouse blend of afrobeat, funk, jazz, rock, reggae, and hip-hop, driven by layered rhythms, horns, and serious live-show energy.
Grab a drink from the event bar, find your spot on the lawn, and help us give another summer of music and creativity in Silverton a proper sendoff.
