Silverton Creates! Art & Music Festival is a celebration of creativity at altitude, set against the stunning backdrop of peak fall colors in the San Juans. Join us September 11–12 for crisp mountain air, golden aspen leaves, and a uniquely Silverton creative experience that brings together artists, musicians, and the community. The weekend kicks off Friday night with a free outdoor concert—the final Summer Sounds show of the season—setting the tone for a festive and creative weekend in town.
On Saturday, the celebration continues with a full-day Maker’s Market, featuring a vibrant mix of local and regional artists and craftspeople, hands-on activities, food trucks, and a stellar musical lineup. As the sun sets, we’ll close out the weekend—and the 2026 events season—with one last live concert, sending summer off in true Silverton style. Whether you’re here to shop, dance, create, or simply soak it all in, Silverton Creates! is where mountains and makers meet!
EVENT SCHEDULE
SUMMER SOUNDS - FRIDAY, SEPT 11
6 - 9 PM @ Memorial Park
Kick off the weekend with a free outdoor concert on Friday night as we celebrate the final Summer Sounds show of the 2026 season. Bring a blanket or camp chair, gather with friends and neighbors, and enjoy two live musical acts under the early fall sky as summer fades into autumn in the San Juans. This all-ages community concert is the perfect way to start the weekend.
11 AM - 5 PM @ Memorial Park
This free and family-friendly event is features arts & crafts vendors, food trucks, libations, kids activities, face painting, and live musical performances all day long. Mark your calendars now and plan to join us for an autumn festival filled with local art, handmade goods, live music and good times! Bring a blanket or a camp chair to enjoy the music, and well behaved dogs are allowed (must be leashed at all times when inside the festival area). Please no outside alcohol.

After a full day of shopping the Maker’s Market and soaking up the creative energy downtown, join us back at Memorial Park for a season-finale concert. This free evening show will feature a high caliber headliner and is the final chance to enjoy live music in the park for the year—so bring your blanket or camp chair, grab a drink from the event bar, and help us close out the season in true Silverton style. All ages welcome.
