MUSIC LINEUP - SEPT 20

LAVALANCHE (2 SETS - 3:45 & 5 pm)

A force of nature sliding down the mountainside, Lavalanche rocks a fiery but smooth groove. With a wide range of original R&B, funk, and soul music, Lavalanche is reminiscent of bands such as The Meters and Lettuce. Lavalanche is led by Tyler Simmons (electric guitar & songwriting) and John "Sully" Sullivan (drum set). Together they pull in many collaborators, from bands all over the San Juan Mountains, to shape very unique performances. Rocking like hot magma and sculpting mountains of memories, Lavalanche is sure to demand your best dance moves.

STEADYNOW(2 pm)

SteadyNOW is a duo based out of Bayfield, Colorado composed of singer songwriters Maggie Bernet (Margaret Victoria) and Aaron Dunn (Goinomadic).

The two have had their streaks of solo endeavors and other band projects but find themselves most at home making music with each other. With styles ranging from folk to rock and a good mix of classics and originals, there is sure to be some song that will strike every ear in the audience.

ROMA RANSOM (12:30 pm)

“Great music should do three things- connect you to the past, inspire you to envision the future, and find you wholly in the present moment. Roma Ransom does all three. Their repertoire includes old-time traditional ballads like Shady Grove and St.James Infirmary as well as sounds from European cultures, mainly that of Romania (hence the duo's name) yet the music of Roma Ransom is distinctly their own. The sultry sweetness of Grace Easley on vocals paired with the couples' vast instrumental array combine to form a style that can fit the mood for any setting.

ROBIN DAVIS DUO (11 am)

The Robin Davis Duo is the sound of decades of music and life lived side by side. From Pagosa Springs, Colorado, this husband-and-wife team blends tradition and originality with a chemistry that only years together can create. Robin Davis brings rich melodies to life on the fiddle, while Jimi Giles lays down a rhythmic foundation with her clawhammer banjo. Their performances weave together heartfelt original songs and timeless tunes from the bluegrass and old-time canon, all delivered with soul, harmony, and an unmistakable sense of place.
