Citizen's State Bank, Weehawken Creative Arts and The Sherbino Present: THE RIDGWAY 1K (with optional 5k Warm Up Lap) RALLY THRU THE ALLEY!
This is a "run" you won't want to miss! The Ridgway 1k is a very fun, costumed race for all ages with plenty of rest-stops along the way of the "grueling" 6 block downhill course. Each stop celebrates the need to refuel with plenty of carbs... and bacon! The race ends at Hartwell Park with live music and an optional add-on regional barrel tasting festival too (San Juan Barrel Fest)! For those who take this running thing a little more seriously, there's an optional 5K "warm up" run prior to the 1k event --- but you better also take the 1k seriously too -- afterall, in the Ridgway 1k, if you're first, you're last! This event is a fundraiser for two non-profit arts organizations, Weehawken Creative Arts and the Sherbino.
